José Rizal loved his country the most over the romantic relationship with the girls he met. So he was trying to solve the problem he saw by his perception in order to let the Filipinos stand themselves independently from Spanish in the Philippines. His literary works as a writer and revolution by forming an organization were his fight against the problems in the government which runs in the country. His travels to different countries had aid his certain knowledge, plans, lifestyle, security and support to his people. Without him as the history of a national hero of the Philippines, the current Filipinos as for now would have less hope to live a better life, environment and union of Filipinos.

Jose Rizal, a writer, revolutionist, polymath and hero. Ever since we have been in elementary and high school, we’re taught how astounding he is, how so much of genius he is, and even how many women he’s bedded.
It is only recently in college that I realize how ignorant I’ve been towards who Rizal really is. What we see is always his accomplishments. But there is more to the national hero than his work.

When our professor asked us to create a website for Jose Rizal, my first reaction was “why do we even need that? There are a lot of sources in the internet, we don’t need to create another”. I didn’t see immediately the main reason of the project but when I was researching more about Rizal, I was amazed on how talented he is. I know he is very smart but I didn’t care enough about all his works. But now, I read most of his poems, essays, letters and he is truly an extraordinary person. I think it good that we have Rizal subject because in that way we are always reminded of the past since we are really in a fast pace towards modernization. It’s nice that once in a while we get to learn the past of our country and the works of Rizal that made impact to the society back then.

Rizalunderwent a lot of hardships and pains from his childhood up to his death. And yet, through those times of difficulties, he endured like how the mighty bamboos bow to the ferocious winds but stand erect once it passes. Challenges did not subdue him, but rather, they brought out the best in him. Even though the struggles and conflicts that had happened to Rizal are nothing compared to the sum total of all the life experiences of humanity his intentions and his devotion to his cause and to his dream of progress and prosperity for the Motherland is worth a thousand lives
